The 1sts had to dig deep on Saturday in brutal conditions at the South West Schools Tournament. There were a few emotional low moments but with huge character, heart and incredible resilience, (helped by a favourable draw which meant we could get out of the elements and warm up), we started the afternoon positively, beating St George's Ascot 10-1 with some our best play of the day. After another dominating performance over CLC, we faced Westonbirt in a nail biting final match, both playing to win the 1st division. End to end, it finished 1-1 and it went on goal average. Despite more goals for, we had three more against, finishing second. Still, much of which to be proud.
