The morning matches saw a victory against Canford 1sts, followed by tough games against Phoenix 1st, St Swithun's 2nds and Downe House 2nds. Despite these losses we were learning from our mistakes and moving forward. The afternoon saw wins against Haberdashers Monmouth and St Mary’s Calne 3 and a draw against CLC. The semi-final saw a rematch against Phoenix. After the 1-7 defeat in the morning, we change the game plan to a more defensive setup and held Phoenix to 1-2 at the half. We were 2-3 down with 2 minutes to play when energy required to run the game plan proved too much and we conceded to late goals. Despite the loss, this was a much better performance and all the players can be proud of their progress.
