It was a tough game for the U14 team, having to play all three games back to back.

The first game was a close one against Sherborne, with goal for goal but unfortunately Sherborne managed to score one extra before the final whistle. Goals for Amelie (2), Esther and Mariella in this game.

The second game saw a very strong Godolphin side, who moved the ball quickly to distract the Marlborough defence. Alexis did very well against some very powerful shots. Goals in this game came from Amelie and a good drive from Daisy.

The final game was when Marlborough had very tired legs and so St Mary’s Calne was quick to capitalise. A great goal here from Ottilie and the defence developed their response to crashing on threatening players in the fan.

Special moments from the day were:

-Amazing saves from Alexis and also stepping up to play for the U15 team

-Strong defence from Sariya at the top of the fan, as well as Grace and Irene showing tenacity on the ball.
-Lovely transitions on the ball from Rosie, Sairya and Ottilie.
