Following a couple of weeks with no fixtures, it was great to get out and play a match again. This was no easy opposition as St H+Ks had several rapid midfield players who we struggled to pick up in defence, resulting in a quick succession of goals. They were winning the majority of the draws and had signficant possession, providing few opportunities for us to score. After half time, the girls showed more determination to fight for the ball when it was down, giving us more possession than in the first half. This set up some great opportunities with a couple of wonderfully executed goals. Difficult game, particularly for the defence, but good practice against stronger opposition nonetheless.
