Coach’s report:

After a slow start where we let the opposition get the better of us, we went from strength to strength, turning around a loss earlier in the afternoon to win the Plate competition. Yet again, the defence led the way with Mima P being outstanding in goal and enabling us to turn defence into attack.

Captain's report

We played 8 games at the Charlie Waller tournament, getting progressively stronger with each one. A highlight of the afternoon was drawing with Phoenix, winners of their pool, despite being fourth in our own, and the game ended with a narrow loss at extra time. At this point in the season, the tournament was great to track our progress and finishing as Plate winners was a brilliant end to the afternoon.
