A fantastic day for the shell at the South West Tournament, winning all three games in the morning to secure a place in the Championship division and an overall finish in the top 8 schools! The team should be VERY proud of their performance against some strong opposition.

First group match 5-0 win against St George's Ascot. A game with many opportunities and determination on show from the team. Special mention to Lily, Rosie and Clemmie who showed a beautiful transition to goal. Goals: Issy(2), Clemmie, Jemima, Eliza

Second group match 2-1 win against Sherborne. A tough competitive match leading 2-0 at half time but Sherborne not giving in with good hustle for the ball and scoring 1 against us in the second half. Goals: Clemmie, Jemima

Third group match 1-0 win against St Helen's and St Katherine's. A nail-biting 15 minutes with play up and down the pitch and opportunities to score from both teams. A strong drive on goal from Clemmie secured us on the scoresheet and a crucial save from Alexis in the dying minutes of the game secured our place in the championship division! Goals: Clemmie

Championship knockout match- 1-1 after game time- loss on golden goal. An extremely intense and exciting match against a very strong opposition whose defence made our attack work extremely hard. Going 1-0 down meant the girls were feeling the pressure but Eliza managed to find a path to goal to make it 1-1. We did have other opportunities on goal but they just hadn't worked out. Going in to golden goal, the team were up for the challenge and got it up to our attacking end but unfortunately just missed the goal on a shot. It came down to our defensive end where Alexis made another fantastic crucial save of the day although unfortunately Westonbirt found their way to goal shortly after. Goals: Eliza
