An exciting first game this term with a number of new players in the team who didn't play last term. Stowe were a strong side, setting up some plays which the girls have not come across before. This gave Stowe a 4-1 lead in the 1st quarter, but soon enough, our midfielders managed to win more draws and work the ball down to attack. Stowe's defence was solid, making it difficult to score easy goals, but our defence improved at reading their attack, keeping the 2nd quarter score to 3-2. In the second half, both teams had some great ball movement and fight, with this half being a draw. Great game overall, which gives us new ideas to work on.
