With no knowledge of our opposition except for SOCS scores, we were excited to test our form against a completely new team. We did well to win the opening draw and quickly had the ball in attack, but St Pauls did not make it easy, forcing us to rush our shots and causing errors. Bella was making some fantastic well timed cuts in front of goal and it was not long before she capitalised on a lovely feed to go 1 up. St Pauls quickly equalised as we went into half time. We dominated the second half, with improving defence and better decisions in attack, leading to two fine goals from Rosie and Anfisa.
