An outstanding performance in our first match against Monmouth proved rather hard to emulate in our remaining games. Having demonstrated skill, teamwork and fluent and clinical play in our opener, nothing seemed to click in our games against CLC and a Senior Club team from Cheltenham. Fortunately we clawed back our rhythm and began to find our mojo just in time for Stowe to take the brunt of our frustration. Our final game against a strong Shrewsbury side was hugely exciting and tense and they pushed us hard but we just held on with Ruby slotting one of her six goals of the day in the dying seconds.
