A tough afternoon against Phoenix Lacrosse, playing only two quarters immediately following the U15 Marlborough side on a wet and windy afternoon.

The girls showed great resilience and determination and in the first half, Marlborough had several opportunities up in the attacking half but Phoenix had a strong defence throughout the pitch. Alexis made some cracking saves throughout, which the spectators on the side loved. Freya impressed, keeping up with some fast players to defend them. The second half was calmer with the ball and Chloe did well in some midfield transitions, as did Nancy in the first half.
