Swithuns played their straight attackers low by the goal to encourage draw and dumps, which successfully resulted in several rapid goals from hard drives from the top. This gave them a 7-2 lead at half time. From here on, the girls improved in how they dealt with this different style of play - keeping the score in the 2nd half to 3-2.
