An impressive afternoon winning the SMC Cup! Having made hard work of our opening match against CLC, the team were properly warmed up and ready for St Mary's Calne. Aware of how well we can play, it was truly exciting to see it all come together. From a great opening save from Za, to solid defence, smooth transition and clinical and unselfish attack, we made it hard for Calne to find their rhythm, especially with our quick and determined re-defending. The girls earned many compliments for their play and went on with confidence to beat Sherborne 6-1 to win the SMC Cup for the second year running.
