A competitive fixture against a versatile Sherborne side who were strong in their defence, making it hard for the Marlborough attack to score off of the usual favourite, the fast break. Despite this the team worked hard to move the ball to create chances around goal but unfortunately only a few of these paid off. The defence worked tirelessly throughout the game having to respond to many fast breaks. Daisy and Jasmine were consistent players throughout, keeping the cool in challenging moments with the ball. A big shout out to Siyona who played in goal and made a fanatic close-range save in the second half.
