A quick game against St George's 1st team followed, proving to be a much tougher match. St George's defence held a strong fort making it tough to execute goals, with several shots being saved. Marlborough pulled it back to one goal difference and were unlucky not to be able to get their final shot off when the whistle went to end the game.
