A disappointing defeat against a tough team. There were glimmers of positivity, notably a concerted and persistent attacking effort in the second half which led to Sio’s goal and Matilda and Phoebe’s double-team combination in defence. Despondency set in as the game progressed and we conceded several goals which could have been prevented - the exeat provides an opportunity to reset and to return with enthusiasm.
