The time had come to put the progress that had been achieved over the last few weeks into practice. The plan was implemented by each and every one of the players and we were quick out of the blocks from the first whistle. Determination in defence and accuracy in attack saw us 4-1 at the end of the first half. We expected Calne to come back at us and this they did. The final 3 quarters were each scored level and it was our early determination that ultimately gave us the win. Yet again Charlotte L was magnificent in goal and was the deserved co-winner of player of the match, along with Anfisa W who was the foundation of many of our successful attacks!
